We were pleased to have had the presence of Maria Vamvakinou MP Federal Minister for Calwell who opened the Brite Wellness Program in January 2009.

Brite applied for and received funds from the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing to deliver training  in Wellness for our employees, staff, parents and carers.

This program was operated during the day and in the evening to allow for greater access for people with a disability, parents and carers who may have work or family commitments and also for the wider community.

Specialist guest speakers were employed and at each session, items related to the topics were given to all participants to encourage that they continue with the ideas learnt once they leave the session.
