What does this course involve?
This course is designed to give you the essential knowledge and skills for employment as an administration officer within a variety of industry sectors.
You will develop a broad range of knowledge and skills in planning & organising, problem solving, self management and exercising initiative in a business environment.
This course contains 13 units of competency. There are two core units, seven administration units and four elective units.
To obtain Certificate III in Business Administration you must successfully complete all 13 units.
What are the entry requirements for this course?
Students must be employed in an administrative or office position and/or have direct access to office/administration resources and equipment in order to undertake training in the Certificate III in Business Administration with Brite Institute.
You will also need to successfully complete a pre-training review.
If undertaking this course as a trainee you will need to be working a minimum of 13 hours per week.

Once you have completed your certificate you may wish to consider Certificate IV in Business, Certificate IV in Business Administration, Certificate IV in Frontline Management or a range of other Certificate IV qualifications in the Business Services Training Package.
How long is the course?
Certificate III in Business Administration usually takes from 6-12 months to complete and is delivered via a workplace-based training model.

Will my previous experience or study count?
Yes, Brite Institute mutually recognises qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by other RTOs. This means you will be granted Credit Transfer (CT) for units from this certificate that have been successfully achieved through another RTO. You will also have the opportunity to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). This takes into account the knowledge and skills you have already gained through previous education, formal or informal training, paid or unpaid work.
